Stephan Zhang

Chief Technology Officer

Stephan is the conceiver of UTU’s vision and core technology, and he has spent years researching, creating and realizing the blockchain technology. When working as the director of Deakin University Blockchain Innovation Lab, he has led the successful creation of Hex-Blockchain Supply-chain Management System, and extensively involved in the creation of EOSIO, the open-source blockchain system that has a $7.5 billion market cap, together with EOS121DAC, EOS World Map, L-Box Proxy, and many more highly-valued decentralized applications.

Gordon Weiskie

Chief Strategy Officer

Gordon has over 20 years experiences in film and entertainment Industry. His first job in the film industry began in 1997 while assisting Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Robin Williams on the Academy Award winning movie, ‘Good Will Hunting’. Gordon continued to work on some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbuster feature film productions, including: X-Men, XMen-2, How Too Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Cheaper By The Dozen, Shoot ‘Em Up, Hairspray, Repo Men, and RED. Later, Gordon was asked to join the DreamWorks development team and worked alongside Steven Spielberg on the Sci-Fi television series, ‘Falling Skies’.

Ryan Lindsay

Chief Marketing Officer

Ryan has 15 years of advertising experience and recently was CCO (Chief Creative Officer and Strategist) at RMB, a digital advertising agency where he empowered the team to develop thirty-five clients including international brands with a heavy outbound advertising load. He is the co-founder of ODEA (Online and Digital Education Academy), a collective of academics and programmers using gamification to deliver education to colleges across North America. Ryan proudly sits on various advisory boards for Business, Entertainment and Education, and has spoken on panels about brand-building and entrepreneurship. He is a proud descendant of James Bay/Swampy Cree (Omushkego).

As Chief Marketing Officer in UTU, Ryan will lead the marketing team to develop and implement marketing and business development roadmaps to boost user adoption and improve product-market fit.

Maggie Xu

Chief Communication Officer

Maggie Xu is a lawyer-turned-blockchain-entrepreneur who is named as one of Canada’s Emerging Women in Blockchain by CoinSquare. Before she founded MetaSpace, she was the CEO of Decentral and the Jaxx Cryptocurrency Wallet. Maggie was also an adjunct blockchain instructor at York University and a blockchain advisor to the Deloitte JA team. Trained and practiced as a lawyer before devoting herself to emerging technologies, these vastly different experiences have allowed her to be multi-disciplinary and always on the lookout for synergies.

As Chief Communications Officer in UTU, Maggie will focus on developing branding initiatives, communication strategies, and execute programs to expand business partnerships, as well as supporting user acquisition plans, and fundraising initiatives.

Michael Andrews

Chief Legal Officer

Mike is the Founder and Senior Partner of Andrews Robichaud Professional Corporation. Clients range from small business owners to Fortune 100 companies and include industry sectors spanning business, high technology, biotechnology, consumer products, entertainment, sports, and the arts. Mike has legal specialties in intellectual property and business strategies for state-of-the-art biometric identification systems, syndication, news media, Internet and web-enabled application service providers, fashion and consumer businesses.

As Chief Legal Officer in UTU, Mike will liaise with executive management team to improve overall legal strategy, processes, frameworks, and best practices for legal function and continue to act as a trusted advisor to our internal and external stakeholders as it relates to all legal matters including corporate strategy.

Patrice Benn

Chief Growth Officer

Patrice brings over two decades of global branding and management consulting experience to UTU Technologies. Having held leadership roles within the National Media, Corporate, Non-Profit, and Government industries, she most recently served as the management consultant to Networking for Teaching Entrepreneurship – NFTE Canada. In that capacity, she provided expertise on expanding the company’s addressable market and incubated new platforms for growth.

As the Chief Growth Officer in UTU, Patrice will drive business functions to create profitability and help various business team to establish success measurements with regards to value proposition and company mission.

Gabor Devenyi

Senior Technical Advisor

Gabor is a blockchain enthusiast and an experienced delivery manager in digital consumer space. He has a proven track record of creating high performance teams, integrating agile values into the work culture – leading to faster end-to-end delivery of software products. He is a servant leader committed to producing self-managing collaborative teams to deliver value to the customers. Gabor is also the organizer of the Future Life Conference, which looks at how emerging technologies will change our children’s lives.

Warren Campbell

Senior Business Strategy Advisor

Warren comes with more than 25+ years in entertainment industry, working with musicians, television producers, athletes, speakers, and entertainers of all types. He has sold programming all around the world and has developed strong partnerships with production companies within Europe & North America. His massive sales network has forged business connections around the globe, and he continues to attend major entertainment conferences in Europe & North America to building upon his solid sales record. At True Gravity Productions, Warren heads up sales and logistics for connecting the right people to move projects forward.
